The World Sailing Rankings seek to establish an order of ability based on the results of ranked events over a 24 month period. The rankings focus on the ten Olympic classes of fleet racing and open and women’s match racing.

In match racing, Eric Monnin (SUI) leads the Open standings followed by Ian Williams (GBR) and Nick Egnot-Johnson (NZL), with Taylor Canfield (USA) leading the North American standings in fifth position. Among the women, Pauline Courtois (FRA) maintains her position at the front of the peloton with Anna Oestling (SWE) in second and Nicole Breault (USA) in third.

North Americans in the top 20 for fleet races include Mexican Mariana Aguilar Chavez Peon (7th, iQFOiL Women), Canadians Georgia and Antonia Lewin-LaFrance (8th, 49erFX) and Americans are: Daniela Moroz (3rd, Formula Kite Women), Andrew Molerus/ Ian MacDiarmid and Ian Barrows/ Hans Henken (4th and 5th, 49er), Stephanie Roble/ Maggie Shea (5th, 49erFX) and Louisa Nordstrom/ Trevor Bornath (14th, 470 mixed).
